In 2018, I was a miserable, unhealthy, and unemployed university dropout with only 28p in my bank account. With no clear future ahead, I found myself sleeping on my mum's sofa and struggling to make ends meet. Believing my only option was to return to university, I packed my bags and moved cities to start again... again.

But in 2020, during my 2nd year, I faced a seemingly insurmountable challenge – I couldn't afford my rent. Already juggling full-time studies and a part-time job, my options were limited. In a desperate move, I decided to start a handmade gift business on Etsy using my £100 paycheck from my part-time job.

Within just four months, I dropped out of university (again) to pursue my thriving Etsy business full-time. What began as a means to fund a £30 weekly food shop quickly turned into a lucrative salary, thanks to hard work and dedication.

As my business grew, I encountered numerous challenges. With no prior business education, it felt like learning a new language. Help was available, but at a steep cost of £3,000, which I simply couldn't afford. So, I persevered solo.
